A New Chapter for J. DelSUR Marketing Group

August 27, 2026

We’re pleased to share some news about the next chapter for J. DelSUR Marketing Group. After seven years building the company, founder Dr. Jan Southern is transitioning ownership of J. DelSUR — and its three community magazines, Pooler, Effingham, and Bryan County — to local business leaders Tuba and Somi Benson-Jaja.

Brothers, business owners, and longtime members of the Coastal Georgia business and nonprofit community, Tuba and Somi are committed to continuity: the same team, the same quality, and the same relationships our clients, advertisers, and readers have come to trust. Dr. Southern will continue to work alongside them as a consultant and senior strategist, supporting a smooth transition.

“I have tremendous confidence in Tuba and Somi,” said Dr. Jan Southern. “They understand this community, value relationships, and bring the energy and expertise to take J. DelSUR to the next level.”

“What Jan built is rooted in real relationships and real results, and that’s exactly what continues,” said Tuba Benson-Jaja. “We’re bringing added energy and investment to help J. DelSUR and its magazines grow.”

J. DelSUR will continue under its current name, with its existing team and its offices in Rincon, Georgia. Clients, advertisers, and readers can expect uninterrupted service. To reach us, contact info@JDelSURMarketing.com or (912) 295-5406.
