Our Team

Jan Southern

CEO/Publisher

Dr. Jan Southern is the CEO of J. DelSUR Marketing Group and Owner/Publisher of Pooler Magazine Effingham Magazine, and Bryan County Magazine in Georgia.

Her experience includes marketing, brand development, design, publishing and strategic communications for public organizations and private sector clients within the healthcare, e-commerce, technology, lifestyle, publishing, service trades, and other industries.

Jan is on the Board of Directors for the West Chatham/Pooler YMCA. She is also a member of the West Chatham/Pooler Rotary Club.

Morris Southern

Chief Operations Officer

Morris, born and raised on a farm in Eastman, Georgia, served in the US Air Force for 22 ½ years, earning numerous awards, including Achievement, Accommodation, and Meritorious Service with clusters. He was stationed in multiple overseas locations, including Operations Northern and Southern Watch. A career highlight was his selection to represent the U.S. and the Air Force as a member of the Thunderbirds Demonstration Squadron.

After retiring from the Air Force, Morris worked for aviation companies such as Vought, HondaJet, and Gulfstream, where he retired as Sr. Operations Manager of Completions. He and his wife, Jeannette, have been married for 6 years and form a strong leadership team. Morris has three adult children and is proud to be part of the J. DelSUR Marketing team.

Christie Wilson

Director of Advertising

Christie Wilson is a seasoned professional with a diverse journey. After attending cosmetology school in Jacksonville, FL, she earned her Master Cosmetology License, setting the stage for a successful career. Following her marriage in 2011, she relocated to Pooler, GA.

In 2018, Christie embarked on an entrepreneurial path. As a former small business owner, she grasps the significance of effective advertising.

This understanding led her to join J. DelSUR, starting part-time in advertising sales in 2021 and transitioning to full-time in 2022. Christie also earned her certification in Digital Marketing from the University of South Florida.

Christie relishes every opportunity to assist and connect with clients. Her journey has woven her into the fabric of South Georgia’s fastest-growing regions, where she takes joy in contributing to their vibrant communities.

Sharon DiTrani

Digital Media Manager

Sharon DiTrani, born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, graduated from Towson University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

She has spent over 30 years in media sales, building a successful career in the industry. Sharon has been married to her husband, Greg, for 27 years, and they have one daughter. They currently reside in Savannah, Georgia, where they’ve lived for four years, having also lived in four other states.

In her free time, Sharon enjoys playing golf and tennis, gardening, reading, traveling, going to the beach, and fishing on their boat.

Chris Antonio

Chris Antonio serves as the Office Manager of J. DelSUR Marketing Group.

Chris’s professional journey has spanned various industries, and she is passionate about driving growth and efficiency in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Throughout her career, Chris has cultivated a deep understanding of administrative management and operational efficiency. She is responsible for overseeing the organization’s day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and managing a wide array of tasks that contribute to the company’s overall success.

Claire Sandow

Claire is a freelance graphic design and marketing professional who lives in Savannah with her husband, daughter and cat. She is a graduate of Georgia College & State University, where she received a degree is Mass Communication. In her spare time, she enjoys pursuing her many hobbies, including knitting, crocheting, quilting and running.
